off, for both day-time and night-time use.
•It is fitted with two compressors and two independent evaporator
and condenser circuits, acting like two air conditioning units in
one.
• It has two operation modes: manual and automatic.
Manual operation:
Performance and power is selected by the
user.
Automatic operation: The system automatically measures and
detects two variables:
a)
1. If the vehicle engine is running, it regulates the
performance of the unit to run at maximum power, since
there is no risk of the battery going flat. This mode is
suitable for use whilst driving the truck, both during the
day and night..
2. If the vehicle engine is switched off, the system regulates
the performance by limiting power in order to prevent the
battery going flat. This mode is suitable for night-time
and day-time rest in the truck cabin.
b) In both the aforementioned operation modes, the unit also
takes the air return temperature and automatically adapts
cooling power in accordance with the cabin temperature,
thus allowing climate control inside the cabin which is
coherent with electrical consumption.
Uses: It is used mainly to cool the truck cabin during the driver’s
rest periods, during loading and unloading operations and whilst
driving.
Other uses: Electrical and agricultural vehicles, public works
machines, as a replacement for traditional mechanical drag air
conditioning, road sweepers, cranes, etc.
