Environment
Since
Dirna started up, our commitment towards the environment protection by means of innovation and products improvement has been constant.
In
1995
Dirna was
awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Industry for its
ecological designs.
Our company was a spanish pioneer in the implementation of environment regulations for retrofitting the
CFC polluting refrigerant into the current
R134a
Dirna worked this time in collaboration with Spanish Ministry of Industry and El Corte Inglés Company.
The most important advance in environmental protection comes with
Bycool and
Minicool range products.
As those products can work with the engine of the vehicle off they prevent idling the vehicle to cool the cab during resting periods, stopovers, while parking, customs stops, etc.
The evaporative
Bycool Systems and the standalone A/C
Minicool avoid the emissions of thousands of
CO2 metric tons to the atmospheres every year for each truck.
